Susan Simpkin MBChB FRACP

Susan has joined the Skin Centre in private practice in Tauranga in January 2016.  She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in January 2015 and received her MBChB at the University of Auckland in 2006.    She has completed advanced training in dermatology overseas in Lincoln, England where she enjoyed a broad experience in medical dermatology and specialised clinics in skin cancer, paediatrics and biologics from 2012 until her return to New Zealand in 2015. Susan has a keen interest in inflammatory skin diseases, contact allergy and skin cancer. She was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to New Zealand at the age of 15. She is now living in Tauranga with her family and as part of her work for the skin centre does weekly general dermatology clinics at Tauranga Public Hospital and monthly Rotorua clinics at Te Ngae Medical Centre.
