Victoria Scott-Lang MBChB MRCP MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG DipDerm MRCP(Dermatology)

Dr Victoria Scott-Lang is a Consultant Dermatologist and works in private practice at KM Surgical, a state-of-the art dermatology clinic in Christchurch.

She attended Aberdeen University Medical School in the North of Scotland, graduating in 2003. Following house surgeon jobs she trained in internal medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006.  

Victoria qualified as a GP in 2009 and also gained specialist qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology and in sexual health medicine. After a short time working as a GP, she spent five years training in Dermatology at the prestigious units of Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and completed her specialist training in late 2013.

In February 2014 she moved to Christchurch with her husband, who is a GP, and was delighted to join the team at KM Surgical in September 2015.

Victoria is highly experienced in all aspects of medical dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and management, and in dermatological surgery.

Victoria is on the executive committee of the New Zealand Dermatological Society. She is the Social Media lead for the world-renowned online Dermatology resource, DermNet NZ, and is also a trustee of DermNet NZ.

Victoria  has two young sons who keep her busy but in her spare time she loves running, cooking, tramping, and exploring the wonderful country that she now calls home.

She loves her job and always strives to provide the best possible care for her patients.
