Bio

Chin-Yun Lin BSc(Med), MBBS(1st Hons), FRACP, FNZDS

Dr. Lin is a dermatologist and ACD accredited Mohs micrographic surgeon trained across New Zealand and Australia. 


He is a consultant at the Auckland Skin & Cancer Foundation in Remuera, and Ormiston Hospital in Howick, Auckland. 


His specialty interests include skin cancers, melanomas, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, pigmentary disorders, laser and cosmetic dermatology.  


After graduating as the Dux from Macleans College in Auckland, he went on to complete his undergraduate medical degree with First-class Honours at the University of New South Wales in Australia.


He undertook his dermatology advanced training  at tertiary teaching hospitals in Auckland, Hamilton, and Christchurch.  


Further dermatology and Mohs surgical and laser Fellowships were undertaken at St Vincent's Hospital and the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia in Sydney. 


Dr. Lin has won various dermatology awards such as the Trans-Tasman Scholarship for the best registrar presentation at the New Zealand Dermatological Society Annual Conference, and the best poster presentation at the Australasian College of Dermatologists Annual Scientific Meeting.  


Dr Lin also takes interest in clinical teaching and research. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals  including the British Journal of Dermatology, and presented at international conferences such as the World Congress of Dermoscopy.   


Dr. Lin provides fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) consultation services to suit the individual needs of his patients.
