- Advanced dermatology training was undertaken locally at Auckland Hospital for 2 years followed by a one year Dermatology Fellowship at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, UK. Dr Sinovich's post fellowship year was spent as a Research Fellow at Auckland University where she was involved in molecular biology and immunohistochemistry in the setting of melanoma within the broader spectrum of identifying novel melanoma proteins for melanoma vaccine development. Worked as a part-time Consultant Dermatologist at Counties Manukau between 2006-mid 2008.
